Responsibilities

  • First line of support for our Mac OS and Windows operating and desktop environments, resolving at least 85% of the incoming tickets within 24 hours of receipt.  A majority of the support requests come from applications such as: Office 365, standard desktop MS Office programs, Chrome and other browsers, Zoom, VOIP telephony, Salesforce and in-house proprietary programs.  
  • Create scripts and manage configurations and deployments in Mac OS and Windows environments.
  • Adhere to our IT service desk policies, procedures, and help desk methodologies in areas such as basic problem resolution and escalation practices.
  • Motivated to advance skills, learn new technology and ways to deliver support and updates.
  • Provide mentoring to other support personnel, as the opportunity presents itself.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.  Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Ability to travel once a quarter, if needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to commit to consistently working Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm with the flexibility to cover weekends and/or evenings, as needed.

  • 3+ years of working experience supporting users, remote and local, with Apple MacOS and Apple end user devices.
  • 5+ years supporting PC, server, and networking hardware and software in a company that has local and remote employees.
  • Minimum 1 year experience creating scripts and managing configurations and deployments in the Mac OS environment. 
  • Maintaining incident and service request tickets, ensuring incoming tickets, and reported issues are accurately identified, categorized, prioritized, diagnosed, and documented.
  • Experience with workstation productivity/operations application administration and deployment e.g., Microsoft Office 365, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management in current Microsoft, Google Chrome, and Apple operating systems.
  • Troubleshooting printers, scanners, and computers issues in the office and remotely.
  • Email support (MS Exchange (Office365), Spam Filters).
    • Workstation/laptop builds and set up.
    • User onboarding and offboarding requests.
    • Exposure in Imaging Technologies desired.
    • Exposure to Jira and/or Zendesk support desired.
    • Exposure to HyperVisor desired.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automated hardware and software deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair technologies with a primary focus on Apple MacOS and Apple end user devices.
  • Experience assisting with complex networks, analyze/identify problems, perform root cause analysis to provide resolution recommendations.
  • Active Directory management and components, DNS, DHCP, GPO.
