Catapult Health is looking for a data-savvy Report Developer who is passionate about healthcare and enjoys using data to support our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of client needs and is motivated to learn the ins and outs of a complex data set to create custom reports and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and distribute analytic reports to provide support to internal and external clients.
  • Collects and analyzes data and reports results based on the needs of end-users.
  • Utilize SQL skills for building complex reports, enhancing and maintaining existing reports, and improving slow queries.
  • Deliver innovative reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Work on analytics projects and collaborate with colleagues to build the best possible data-driven solutions.
  • Builds strong relationships and collaborates with teammates, business leaders, and other internal/external clients.
  • Resolves internal Tech-Support tickets pertaining to reporting and analytics.
  • Actively participates in ad hoc projects and day-to-day matters that arise.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data & analytics reporting-focused work.
  • Extensive knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment and understanding of ETL techniques.
  • Coding skills in JavaScript/Node.js to build new ETL modules is a plus!
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience driving analytics projects from inception to delivery while meeting deadlines.
  • Mastery of SQL and comfortable working with large data and diverse data sets.
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
  • Mental acquisitiveness – desire to research complex problems and is eager to learn new reporting technologies.
  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot data.
  • Technical background with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience adhering to HIPAA regulations concerning the privacy of patient data, a plus
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
